Anera Honors the Kalbian Family

Posted in: ,

At Anera’s Annual Gala in Washington, DC on September 30, 2022, Anera proudly honored the Kalbian family. Vicken, Ada, Haig, Maral and Aline have generously given their time and finances in support of Anera’s work for many decades. Vicken served as the chair of Anera’s medical committee for 31 years and was pivotal in professionalizing Anera’s health and relief work.

Sadly, last year Vicken died just before Anera’s gala, and Ada died in 2019. We mourn the loss of these shining stars in the Anera community, but we know their children will carry on their legacy.
