In Lebanon, menstrual product prices have surged by 500% since 2019, forcing many women to use unsanitary alternatives, worsening health risks and social stigma. In Gaza, ongoing conflict has intensified the crisis, leaving many women without access to basic menstrual hygiene products and facilities, leading to severe physical and mental health issues.
