Anxiety and fear affect the immune system
Fake news creates fear, which weakens the immune system. Be aware and make sure you check your facts before sharing!
How do we differentiate between fake news and real news?
Before you share, make sure the source is reliable from a trusted health organization. Check the date to make sure it’s not old news.
Video and voice messages
The news that we receive through screen shots, video or voice recordings might be fake. It’s important to check their validity through trusted news channels.
What is social distancing?
It includes not shaking hands, avoiding crowds, and staying at least two meters away from people. Most important is to stay home and not leave unless absolutely necessary.
What is isolation?
Isolation is a strategy to completely isolate those who have been infected from healthy people to prevent infection. Isolation can be at home or in a health facility.
What is quarantine?
Quarantine limits the movement of those who might be infected in order to confirm if they have the virus and ensure that it doesn’t spread.
